Everything you need to know before booking your move. Pricing, what is included, how we handle your belongings, storage, long distance, and more.
Pricing
What Does It Cost?
We price based on the size of your home, the number of crew members needed, and for long distance moves, the distance. We do not charge by weight or by how long the job ends up taking beyond what was quoted. You receive a fixed price before the truck is loaded. That number does not change on moving day.
Flat rate. We do not charge by the hour. Hourly pricing creates anxiety on moving day because you are watching the clock instead of focusing on your move. Our flat rate means you know the full cost upfront and there are no surprises when the job is done.
Our local move pricing starts at: Studio $400 to $700 · 1 Bedroom $600 to $1,000 · 2 Bedroom $900 to $1,400 · 3 Bedroom $1,300 to $2,000. The range depends on the volume of items, stairs, access, and distance between origin and destination. For long distance and specialty moves, call us for a custom quote.
No. What we quote is what you pay. Furniture pads, shrink wrap, disassembly, reassembly, and stair carries are all included in the price we give you. We do not add fuel surcharges or per-item fees after the fact. If your move requires something unusual, we discuss it before booking, not after loading.
No deposit required to book. You pay when the job is done, not before. We want you to feel confident in the service before any money changes hands.
We accept cash, check, and all major credit and debit cards. Payment is collected at the end of your move once everything is in place and you are satisfied.
Booking and Scheduling
How Do I Book?
For peak season moves between May and September, booking 3 to 4 weeks in advance is ideal. Off-season moves can usually be scheduled with 1 to 2 weeks notice. Last-minute moves are possible depending on availability, so call us even if your timeline is short. We will always tell you honestly what we can fit.
Yes. We operate 7 days a week. Monday to Friday 7am to 8pm, Saturday 7am to 6pm, and Sunday 8am to 4pm. Weekend slots fill up faster than weekdays, especially in summer, so book early if your move date falls on a Saturday.
Call us as soon as you know. We understand that move dates change, especially when real estate closings or lease handovers are involved. We will do our best to accommodate a new date. The sooner you let us know, the more options we have available.
Sometimes. It depends on our current schedule. Call us directly and we will tell you immediately if we can make it work. We never want to turn away a move if we have the crew available.
Call us at or fill in the quote form on any page of this site. Tell us your home size, moving from and to addresses, move date, and any specialty items. We respond same day with a fixed price.
Move Day
What to Expect on Moving Day
We confirm your arrival window when you book. Most moves start between 7am and 10am. We call you the morning of the move with a more specific arrival time so you are not left waiting around.
Yes. Bed frames, sectional sofas, desks, and anything that needs to be broken down to fit through doors or down stairs is handled by our crew at no extra charge. We bring the tools. Let us know about anything oversized or unusually large when you book so we can plan accordingly.
We use floor runners, door frame padding, and furniture pads to protect your home at both origin and destination. Upholstered pieces are shrink-wrapped before going on the truck. This is standard on every move, not an add-on.
Someone needs to be available to give the crew access and sign off at the end. It does not have to be you personally, but a trusted person who can answer questions about where items go and confirm everything is complete before we leave.
The more prepared you are, the faster the move goes. Have boxes sealed and labeled, clear pathways through your home, and reserve parking at both locations if possible. Disconnect any appliances that need disconnecting in advance. If you need help with packing, we offer that as a service you can add to your move.
We do not move hazardous materials including propane tanks, paint, chemicals, or anything flammable. Plants, pets, and valuables like cash and jewelry should be transported by you personally. If you have anything unusual, ask us when you book and we will advise.
Residential Moving
Moving Your Home
Yes, and we do it regularly. Baltimore is full of rowhomes and walk-up apartments. Stairs are a standard part of what we handle, not an exception. Tell us the number of flights when you get your quote so we can size the crew correctly.
Yes. You do not need a full home move to use us. Single item moves, furniture deliveries, and small partial moves are all jobs we take on. Call us with what you need and we will give you a price.
Yes. Senior moves are some of the most important work we do. We take our time, communicate clearly, and work at a pace that is comfortable for the customer. Let us know the situation when you book so we can match the right crew to the job.
Commercial Moving
Moving Your Business
Yes. We schedule commercial moves around your operation. Early morning, evenings, and weekends are available so your business does not have to pause for the move. Tell us your constraints and we will work around them.
We move IT equipment, servers, monitors, and office electronics with care. We do not disconnect or reconnect anything requiring a certified IT technician. Your IT team handles cabling and systems. We handle the physical transport, properly padded and secured.
Yes. Larger commercial moves are planned in advance with a clear schedule. Call us to discuss the scope and we will build a quote that covers the full job rather than discovering complications on the day.
Packing and Unpacking
Packing Services
Both. Full packing means we pack everything in your home from kitchen to closets. Partial packing means you handle most of it and we pack the items or rooms you want professionally handled, such as fragile kitchenware, artwork, or a home office. Your choice.
We bring all packing materials when you book a packing service. Boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, tape, and specialty materials for fragile items are all included. If you have your own materials and prefer we use them, that is fine too.
Yes. Packing the day before is often the smoothest approach for larger homes. The move day crew arrives to a home that is ready to load rather than spending the morning packing. Let us know when you book and we will schedule both days.
Yes. Unpacking is available as a standalone service or added to your move. We unpack boxes, place items where you direct, and remove all packing materials so you are not left with a mountain of boxes after an already exhausting day.
Storage
Storage Solutions
No minimum. Storage is month to month with no long-term commitment. You store for as long as you need and tell us when you are ready for delivery. We do not lock you into contracts.
Yes. Temperature and humidity are regulated year-round. Maryland summers and winters can be extreme and non-climate-controlled storage damages wood furniture, electronics, fabrics, and leather over time. Ours is protected against all of that.
Storage starts from $80 per month. The rate depends on how much you are storing. Call us with a description of what you need stored and we give you an exact monthly figure the same day. Bundle storage with a move and ask about the combined discount.
Yes. We handle the move into storage and the delivery back out. You do not need to hire a second company or rent a truck. When you are ready, one call to us gets everything delivered to your new address.
Specialty Moving
Pianos, Antiques and Special Items
Yes. Upright pianos, console pianos, and grand pianos. Grand pianos require disassembly of the legs and pedal lyre before moving. Call us first and describe the piano and the access at both locations so we can price it correctly and assign the right crew.
Almost certainly yes. Pianos almost always go out of tune after a move due to changes in temperature, humidity, and the physical movement itself. This is normal and expected regardless of how carefully the piano is moved. We recommend waiting 2 to 4 weeks after the move before tuning so the piano can acclimate to its new environment.
Yes. Antique furniture, fine art, sculptures, and framed pieces are assessed individually before the move. Each item is wrapped in the appropriate materials and positioned carefully on the truck to minimize movement during transport. Tell us about high-value items when you book.
Yes. Large safes can exceed 1,000 pounds and require specific equipment and crew sizing. Call us with the make, weight if you know it, and stair access details at both locations. We will give you a fixed price based on those specifics.
Yes. Pool tables require full disassembly including the slate and felt. Call us first with the table size and access details so we can confirm the job and quote it correctly.
Long Distance Moving
Moving Out of Baltimore
Yes. We are registered with the Maryland Department of Transportation and licensed for interstate moves. We carry all required insurance for cross-state transport. Documentation is available on request before you book.
No. The crew that loads your belongings in Baltimore delivers them at the destination. We do not broker moves or hand your belongings to a third party mid-move. One company, start to finish.
Fixed. Most national movers quote on estimated weight and adjust at delivery. We do not do that. You receive one number before the truck is loaded and that is what you pay when we arrive at the destination.
Yes. Your delivery date is confirmed in writing before you book. Not a window of several days. A specific date you can plan around.
Nationwide. Our most common routes are to Washington DC, Northern Virginia, Philadelphia, and New York City. We also handle moves to Florida, Texas, California, the Carolinas, and anywhere else in the country. Call us with your destination and we will give you a quote the same day.
